Yes, it's INTERNATIONAL ZINCK'S NIGHT again, this year on Thursday, October 18th, and Klaus and Deloyce Conrad from the Munich Chapter are inviting all interested Cornellians and Friends for celebration at DONISL, just off Marienplatz in the Center of Munich.  This year the little "Hubertus" room, which has seen us several times is already taken but tables have been reserved for an area were one can hear each other talking. You can drop in any time after 7:oo p.m.

July 2001 07/19/2001 Klaus and Deloyce Conrad from the Munich Chapter are inviting all interested Cornellians and Friends for this years summer Biergarten-Stammtisch to Munichs famous Hirschgarten.  You may take the convenient public transportation (lines S1-6, 8 or City Bus) to the Laim Station and drop in any time after 6:oo p.m. Tables are reserved.

The 10th annual Cornell Weekend of the Cornell Club of Germany will take place this year in Sellin on the Rügen Island. This place at the Baltic See Shore in Northeastern Germany is a beatuful resort an has a chance to match the wonderfull weekend last Summer at Lake Constance in Southwestern Germany.

The event will take place in the "Cliff-Hotel" near Sellin, which has been organized by Wolfgang Fritzemeyer receiving a special arrangement through our Co-Alumnus Rudy Münster.

We will be able to utilize the hotel's RÜLAX-Wellness-World with Fitness Center, Finnish Sauna, Pool, Kneipp-Rondell, Various steam baths etc. Prices for a "Komfort-Appartement" will be DM 260 per night, a single room will be DM 125 per night.

Wolfgang and the preparation team have been working on the final touches of the program right now and it will be posted here. It is already decided that we will take a boat tour, this time to Hiddensee Island paying a visit to the Gerhard-Hauptmann Museum.

April 2001 04/26/2001 Klaus and Deloyce Conrad from the Munich Chapter are inviting for the next quarterly meeting on April 26, 2001 at the Wayne University Junior Year in Munich rooms (Richard Wagner Str. 27 -- near Königsplatz).  Prof. Söder was so kind to provide those rooms agein, after the last meeting was so enjoyable for all who attended. March 2001 03/20/2001 The 2nd Rhein-Ruhr Chapter Cornell Stammtisch in 2001 will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at 19.30. It will take place in Cologne at the restaurant Alter Wartesaal. January 2001 01/25/2001 The first Rhein-Ruhr Chapter Stammtisch for the year 2001 will take place at the restaurant Zum Schiffchen in the Altstadt on Thursday, January 25.     01/18/2001 Klaus and Deloyce Conrad from the Munich Chapter are inviting for the meeting on January 18, 2001 at the Wayne University Junior Year in Munich rooms (Richard Wagner Str. 27 -- near Königsplatz).  Prof. Söder will be providing wine and cheese and also sharing some current observations in contrast to the experiences remebered by Frau Dr. Marie Luise Hartung in an informal talk, "A foreign student at Cornell, 1953-54" (working title).  Mrs. Hartung, Dipl. Psych., Dr. phil. was clinical psychologist for 30 years at the Psychiatrische Universitätsklinik, Erlangen.  She is now retired and will be coming from Baiersdorf-Hagenau to share anecdotal memories of her days at Cornell. Although the official starting time will be 7 or 7:30 p.m., Klaus and Deloyce will be there earlier in case anyone can make it directly after work.
